I Love to see the Temple
We were lucky enough to see the new Oquirrh Temple. It was a beautiful day. So glad we went! Is it me, or do the children seem to have halo's surrounding them?

Quality Time!
After an especially difficult, disappointing, and heartwrenching week, it was so nice to spend some quality time with Katie's girls, Lily & Chloe. Being with those cuties seems to erase heartache, and makes me grateful that we can see our grandchildren so often.
Katie and Mike went to Youth Conference, so we got FOUR days with the girls. It was wonderful to tuck them in each night, give them kisses, and enjoying "snuggle time" each morning. We then had beauty time, and lots of fun playing, singing, baking, and listening to the fascinating stories the girls made up.
On Friday, we went to Wheeler Farm. Papa got to join us for that. We had a blast meeting, and smelling all the farm animals. It was so much fun!

We are pleased to announce the latest graduate in the family . . . our LILY girl has honored the entire family by successfully graduating from Pre-School. The teacher did not mention it, however, it goes without saying that she was the top student!! Our little genius, AND source of pride. . . righteous pride, that is!

Last Week marked the first anniversary of my mother's passing. I can't believe it has been a year. I miss her, and ache as much as if it was just yesterday. My brother, Richard wrote a poem that expresses all of our feelings.
Mom
It’s been a year since you’ve been gone.
Your memory in our hearts is strong.
We miss your smile and loving touch.
We love you mom so very much.
Although your mortal time was through,
We feel you near in all we do.
We think of you most every day.
How you loved to sing and play.
Our lives were touched by your life.
You soothe our souls in times of strife.
In times of trouble we look to you.
To tell our hearts what we should do.
So be at peace dear mother of ours.
Enjoy the heavens and the stars.
Please think of us and keep in touch.
We love you mom so very much.

Disneyland
This week three of our grandchildren took us to Disneyland. Nothing compares to being at the "Happiest Place on Earth" with little ones. The children did not know anything. We dragged th emout of bed before 5 in the morning. After we got checked in at the airport, and got to our gate, they were given cards from Disney characters inviting them to Disneyland. They were thrilled (to say the least!) We all had a wonderful time. The weather was great, and we had a blast!! I will never forget this wonderful trip!
